Biomarker discovery and liquid biopsy miRNA analysis
Candidate biomarkers for your cancer type or disease, ranked by evidence and validated across independent cohorts, including circulating miRNA in serum and plasma.
Who it's for
- Diagnostics and biotech companies building proof-of-concept evidence for a biomarker panel
- Clinical research groups with serum or plasma miRNA data from small RNA-seq or qPCR
- Researchers choosing candidates before committing to an assay or a validation study
What you receive
Biomarker discovery analysis
You receive: Differential expression, survival and diagnostic performance from TCGA and GEO, validated across independent cohorts and delivered as a ranked panel with every supporting figure.
Liquid biopsy miRNA biomarkers
You receive: Hemolysis and spike-in quality checks, normalisation suited to circulating RNA, differential analysis, and diagnostic panels with sensitivity, specificity and AUC.
Data we accept
Small RNA-seq counts, qPCR Ct exports, TCGA and GEO accessions, and anonymised clinical variables such as stage, survival and diagnosis. We work with anonymised data only, and a confidentiality agreement can be signed before you share anything.
How a project runs
- You share your study and the data you have.
- You receive an analysis plan with the scope, timeline and a fixed price, agreed in writing before any work starts.
- Quality control comes first, and any data problems are reported as they are found.
- You receive figures, tables, documented code and a technical summary of every step, organised so you can rerun everything.
Analysis, figures and tables only; manuscript writing is not included.
Questions
- Why does circulating miRNA need special quality control?
- Serum and plasma miRNA levels are affected by hemolysis and by low RNA input. Checking hemolysis markers and using spike-ins or suitable normalisation keeps technical effects from being mistaken for biology.
- How do you avoid over-optimistic results?
- Candidates are tested in independent cohorts, and diagnostic performance is reported with confidence intervals on data that was not used to select the panel.
- Can you work with qPCR data?
- Yes. Ct exports are checked for sample quality and reference gene stability before fold changes and diagnostic statistics are calculated.
